Sacramento History Museum Store
On July 16, 2009 the Sacramento History Museum unveiled a brand new Museum Store! Our new store features custom merchandise available only at the Museum, as well as new book titles and gifts for all ages. Visit the store soon and see the original art of Sacramento’s own Elaine Bowers. Her watercolor Earthscapes, homage to the beautiful areas that surround Sacramento, are a rich patchwork of colors and textures of the land that exist beyond our urban centers. The rivers, rice fields, pastures, and cultivated farmlands form an ever-changing collage of velvety greens, varying earth tones and bright blues. As the outward expansion of Sacramento and its satellite communities build over this land, Elaine has attempted to capture its beauty forever in these images. Framed and unframed prints as well as beautiful gift cards are on sale now.
